Background in Vacation Rentals

I started my career in the vacation rental industry as a seasonal travel agent for the Steamboat Ski Area selling complete vacation packages to travelers. This afforded me my first glimpse into the world of vacation rentals. From there I worked with some of the “big names” in the vacation rental world including ResortQuest, Steamboat Resorts and Wyndham Vacation Rentals. Then, I was recruited to help build a startup management company in Steamboat, Resort Lodging Company. It was there that I built the sales and marketing program from the ground up. We grew from nothing to marketing over 250 individual rentals in Steamboat and managing 10+ HOAs in just 3 years. By embracing new technologies, implementing unique strategies, building important partnerships and just being true to ourselves and what we believed in, we built a successful company that was then purchased by one of the “big guys” and that’s when I decided to start Alpine Vista to help other companies reach their full potential.

I have experience in a little of everything. Working for the big guys, small guys and startups. If it involves sales or marketing in the vacation rental management world, I have probably done it. I also have developed a network of trusted businesses and professionals to call on when additional expertise or services are needed.
